ENYI, IKENNA OSIMIRI

Ikenna Osimiri is currently a resident Instructor within the College of Chiist Education, Chiist University where he teaches Undergraduate and Graduate Classes in Chiist Education.  In addition to his teaching duties, he also holds the position of High Chief Priest of Global Faith Ministries of Chiism (Godianism) with responsibility for administrative and operational implementation of Chiism (Godianism) throughout the United States.  Ikenna maintains a strong commitment to the ongoing discovery, research and promotion of African Traditional Religion as the premiere Pan African vehicle to promote the spiritual, academic, political and economic restoration of African peoples to their rightful place on the timeline of history.  Always one to challenge the status quo, he is a prolific writer, contributor and co-host to various print, broadcast and online radio outlets.  Additionally, he is the co-founder, Producer and Director of African World Perspective (AWP).  A television series highlighting the similarities, differences, shared concerns and Heritage of African Americans and Africans on the Continent and the Diaspora.

 

Ikenna’s educational resume includes Undergraduate studies at Wayne State University, B.S. Biology; in addition to a B.A. and M.A. in Chiist Education with concentrations in African History and Comparative Religion.

 

In 1996 he was awarded Chieftaincy Title as Enyi of Nkporo; and holds additional Titles and Age Grade admissions in recognition of his long standing commitment to Human Rights, Women’s equality and the preservation of the highest ideals of African Cultural Tradition and Religion.
