ABOUT DR. UWA ONYIOHA-OSIMIRI
Chief Uwa Onyioha-Osimiri, Ph.D. is author of the Living Our Colors Books. She is also the President and Founder of the African Women Economic Consortium (AWEC) and Chiist Higher Learning Corporation (CHLC). This organization is the accrediting body for Chiist University, for which she is the founder and Chancellor.
She earned numerous Awards for her work in business, and education. she served on the Advisory Board for the Women Federation for World Peace. She was a member of the Emerging Minority Businesses Council of Michigan, and received a Certificate of Tribute from Governor Jennifer Granholm for her work with the Governor’s small business initiative. She has been featured in the Detroit News as one of Michigan’s Most Influential Women.
A motivational speaker, she has lectured at Wayne State University, Oakland University, Michigan State University, University of Phoenix, Emory University and countless secondary and grammar school workshops, as well as women empowerment workshops for Chrysler Corporation. She earned a Doctorate degree in Inter-religious studies and has recently completed her academic work for a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Intelligence and Psychological Testing. She is now working on her dissertation and clinicals.
She imarried and live with my husband Ikenna, and a Silk Terrier named Chi Chi in Georgia, USA. They have three adult children.
She called upon the kindness and enthusiasm of 9 members of the community as Project Coordinators to assist in getting story contributions from men and women all over the world. These people are educators, publishers, spiritualists, housewives and friends who simply support the vision of this project.
